This was bought for my son for his first birthday. I figured it was time I tried to put some sort of jewelry on him. He played with it for maybe a minute and hasn't bothered with it since. My daughter is 6 months and has been wearing an amber necklace since she was 4 months. We had misplaced her old one so bought a new one. Within a day or so of wearing it, her excessive fussiness (which increased when we misplaced her other) was almost gone completely! She's not biting her hands nearly as much either!
